Todd Shyiak - President
Todd has been on the leading edge of the real estate industry for almost 30 years with an extensive professional track record in sales, technology, management and business development. From real estate agent to VP of Business Development, Todd’s real estate experience is wide and deep.Todd’s only foray outside of Real Estate was, befittingly, as an Executive Recruiter. He was recruiting senior level sales and marketing positions for Fortune 1000 companies. Todd spent two years learning recruiting best practices and processes that, combined with his extensive knowledge of the real estate industry, have become the foundation for CSR.Todd lives with his wife and two children in Kamloops, BC, Canada. As a family, they like to ski, boat, hike, bike and golf. Todd is a hockey coach and when time allows, he loves to read a good book. -
Lindsay Lent - Executive Recruiter
Lindsay has over 30 years of professional sales, marketing and senior management experience in new business development. From the early days of the technology boom, he established a successful track record of hardware and software sales and was promoted to a VP of Marketing and Advertising. Soon thereafter, he took on a position as a Senior Business Development Consultant.
In that role, he helped launch enterprises in a variety of industry sectors. Lindsay has always been interested in real estate and took the university program, for licensure, with the expectation of becoming a real estate agent. However, Todd (his friend of 15 years) came calling with the business idea and model for CSR; and, it was a perfect match. Lindsay is dedicated to helping companies recruit the best talent.Lindsay lives on the west coast of Canada and loves to play guitar, sail, walk the beaches and hang with his dog Lewis. -
Trish Morelli
Trish has spent a good portion of her career in various capacities of the wine business. From managing a retail store, to managing a sales team to directing a marketing department, Trish claims the key to her success in the industry was to understand all related areas and functions of the business.
In 2006 Trish founded her own company providing strategic planning, operations planning and marketing solutions to small and medium sized business owners. Her initial contact with Cogent Step Recruiting was as in the form of a client when she took on the project to set up office operations for the newly formed company. After an exciting and very positive 6 month client to business owner relationship, both parties realized the potential and benefit to joining forces on a more permanent basis.
Today Trish works as the Director of Operations for Cogent Step Recruiting. Applying her sales and marketing skills and her business savvy to the real estate industry ( an industry which has always been a bit of a secret hobby for Trish) is an exciting and refreshing new challenge.
Trish enjoys a balanced life style with colleagues, friends and family. Food and wine remain a passion, and when time permits Trish is an avid snow skier and “want a be” golfer.
